سُحبت اليوم الجمعة 13 يناير 2023 بقاعة الندوات التابعة لمركب محمد السادس بالمعمورة قرعة كأس العالم للأندية 2023 وأسفرت عن مواجهات قوية ويخوض ريال مدريد الإسباني بطل أوروبا نصف نهائي كأس العالم للأندية في فبراير المقبل، أمام الفائز في المباريات الفاصلة بين فريق سياتل الأميركي ، والفائز بين الأهلي المصري وأوكلاند سيتي النيوزيلندي ، بحسب القرعة.
وسحب قائد المنتخب الوطني المغربي السابق نور الدين النيبت المواجهة التي أوقعت في دور الربع الثاني الفائز في المباراة الفاصلة بين الوداد البيضاوي بطل افريقيا والهلال السعودي بطل أسيا ضد فلامنغو البرازيلي بطل أمريكا الجنوبية في نصف النهائي الأول.
وتشهد المسابقة مشاركة أبطال القارة بالإضافة إلى وصيف بطل إفريقيا الأهلي المصري، على اعتبار أنّ الوداد بطل إفريقيا هو مستضيف البطولة أيضًا.
وستجرى النسخة المقبلة من كأس العالم للأندية في المغرب خلال الفترة من 1 وحتّى 11 فبراير 2023 علمًا وأنّ الرباط وطنجة ستحتضنان مواجهات البطولة العالمية.
